A "stroke navigator" for #lifeafterstroke who supports the person + their families to navigate complex health systems for 12 months post stroke. Sounds brilliant 👏 we could learn so much from this German system. Let's listen to what service users tell us... They ask for this!

Lived experience improves rehabilitation interventions. In our session on the topic, we were reminded that “co-design should be normalised”. It can help in many ways… “Involvement gave me a sense of purpose,” said stroke survivor and #UKSF24 speaker Keith Jenkinson.

Completely agree..useful session. We need to upskill and support workforces to deliver neuropsych support and encourage psychologists into stroke care through training programmes
