🚨Apparently all NIH Study Sections have been suspended indefinitely. For those who don’t know, this means there won’t be any review of grants submitted to NIH Depending on how long this goes on for, this could lead to an interruption in billions in research funding.

Proud to be training in such an incredible department. #Match2025 folks don’t forget to consider funding strength- regardless of whether you consider yourself a future researcher. #gasgang

PSA to 2026 cycle #anesthesia applicants. Programs have officially begun adding their dates for open houses. Make sure to check it out and the other resources ASA has for application support (PD interview series is a must)!

This week's ACIP meeting was full of the same intentionally misleading fearmongering that causes vaccine hesitancy. Children and families deserve better — public health information grounded in science.
