It’s so wonderful having visitation hours extended again. I am thankful to get to see and work with important people in patients’ lives again. I think we’re all better for it!

Last night shift of intern year: ✅

Sen. Chris Murphy slammed Congress in an impassioned speech after the Texas elementary school shooting that left at least 14 children and one adult are dead. ”What are we doing? ... This isn’t inevitable. These kids weren’t unlucky. This only happens in this country," he said.

Our country is so divided we can’t even protect children from domestic terrorism. My heart is really heavy tonight. The lives lost will never be forgotten and the lives spared will never be the same. Change is long overdue.

Had one of my most challenging days of residency yesterday. Thankful for amazing co-residents that always help out!
