Victoria Shaw is our Marketing and Design Manager. ‘I am currently a History MA student at DMU. In 2020, I was awarded the Glenford Marlon Xavier Prize for Best History Dissertation for my study of working class communities in Stoke-on-Trent.

Hamzah Kahn is our Panel Chair! ‘Currently a Student at DMU studying an English MA. I had Graduated in 2020. My academic research primarily is aimed at how western society has viewed specific groups or their contributions to Western society.

Hi! I’m Liv and I’m your Social Media Manager. After completing a degree in Journalism and Media last year, I started my Masters in English at DMU. My interests academically include feminism and how it has been interpreted throughout the years.

It’s been a wonderful day where a diverse range of topics surrounding #IndentityandPower have been discussed and we appreciate all that attended and donated to our GoFundMe for Leicester South Food Bank

Also our final total for our GoFundMe after today is £140 which has beaten our target of a £100. We are so glad that we (with the help of you all) can give back to Leicester by giving to the Leicester South Food bank! ☺️
