What an incredible scene this evening as a vibrant double rainbow spanned over #Pittsburgh! I captured it reflecting in a puddle which made the rainbow look like it circled the entire city.

Another incredible scene from last evening as the sky lit up as just before sunset. Once the rainbow faded from my vantage point on the North Shore I hurried over to Oakland to capture the last bit of the rainbow with the Cathedral of Learning. #Pittsburgh #h2p #pitt

Yesterday's rainbow over #Pittsburgh was crazy bright! It really stood out against the dark stormy skies in the background.

The Cathedral of Learning at sunset earlier this week. The glow in the sky was caused by the sun hitting the rain falling in the distance. I put a bit of a blur effect on this photo and I thought it turned out pretty neat, it kind of gives the photo a 3D look. #h2p #pittsburgh

Pittsburgh looks like it's about to get sucked up and transported to another galaxy in this star trail photo from this morning. The hints of purple near the horizon were actually the northern lights! There’s a few small meteors mixed in as well.. so cool! #pittsburgh

Last night I went to Kennywood for their drone show and holy cow was it COOL!! The drones formed a bunch of iconic Kennywood things like the arrow, the good night heart, Noah's Ark, and a few others. All of them were animated too which was super cool! #Pittsburgh

Polaris Dawn entry this morning. I photographed it at 7:23 am GMT from the Cupola on ISS. In addition to the multi-colored entry trail over Florida, the basic cone shape of the Dragon capsule can be seen. Nikon Z9, 200mm f2, 1/400th sec, ISO 25600.

One week ago today, the SpaceX rocket carrying the Polaris Dawn crew was visible from #Pittsburgh as it headed to space. This video condenses the approximately 1 minute pass to just a few seconds.

The moon rises between the US Steel and BNY Mellon Towers in #Pittsburgh this evening. There was juuust enough space between the clouds and the horizon to get a glimpse of the moon between the buildings. Love how this angle worked with Mt. Washington in the foreground!
