Ater devouring this gorgeous new picture book about the origins of Memorial Day, I'm spending this quiet Sunday morning catching up on the #31DaysIBPOC blogs I've missed. The undercurrent of change gives me hope, but at times, it feels heavy and hard. We must rumble with history.

Some advise to only surround yourself with great people but what about the people who need to discover the greatness within them? It’s not always who you need to be around but who needs to be around you so you can encourage and impact them.
