Last Sunday we reimagined what the education system would look like if we rebuilt it from scratch. Despite a room full of diverse political views, the conversation wasn't polarizing. In fact, it was warm and friendly with lots of agreement.

Spent Saturday with @BridgingD and Nole78🇺🇸💉🌻🦅 at Glide Memorial Church. After six hours of discussion between "reds" and "blues," the takeaway is easily hidden in these divided times: there are many people of good will who genuinely want to listen and learn.

Being an ally doesn’t require 100 percent agreement on everything. It requires the commitment to learn more about the things you disagree with. Quit canceling folks who aren’t where you are yet.
