Despite cops preventing vendors from setting up at Plaza Tonatiuh in Sunset Park, Brooklyn yesterday, people continued to hold the space, give out free food & drinks, dance, & play music at the park.

4/16 SUNSET PARK groups in solidarity w/ Mexicanos Unidos (MxU) demonstrate inter-communal support for Plaza Tonatiuh, an open-air market in the park organized by MxU that has been shut down by cops. Plaza coordinators say they hope to negotiate with the City to obtain permits.
