Today is the 4th Annual Ward A Trunk or Treat…

.Denise Ridley, Mira Prinz-Arey, Daniel Rivera, Councilman Yousef J. Saleh - Ward D, Joyce Waterman, and Steven Fulop declared victory at the party night.

We announced today a project I’ve been working on with Denise Ridley to construct 3 new recreation centers in #JerseyCity (Ward A, Ward E, Ward D). The vote for the initial funding will be on next week’s council agenda. All centers modeled after the Bethune Center in Ward F. I

Seems ironic that I’m currently taking a professional development course inside the The Bethune Center w Denise Ridley as this major announcement is made. It’s not by happenstance – rather, it reinforces the importance & power these spaces have in #CommunityBuilding City of Jersey City
