Good morning, early birds! Attorney General Gentner Drummond issued a formal opinion Wednesday that declares the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) is bound by law to continue serving the state’s major metropolitan areas.

Oklahoma House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson, D-Oklahoma City, issued a statement in response to a court hearing involving a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and joined a call for him to step down from his position.

All of the news of the last hour is a lot to take in. Political violence should never be tolerated in America. Never. And while the world was processing the headline from Utah, two children were shot while learning in Denver. This is an extremely sad day in America.
