We continue with #MinecraftEdu #coding classes this week. Students who learned block coding in the #MakeCode interface can easily translate existing code to #Python with great language support. The game atmosphere is super engaging. 🧱 🐔 #PrimarySTEMchat 🛠️ #STEM 🧱 #EduSky 🪓

The same safety, affirmation & time that our students need to learn is necessary for parents & other adults. When we disagree or express concern, we empower others to change when we treat them with dignity and respect. Venting our strong feelings rarely persuades.

#coding in #MinecraftEDU has continued to be one of the outstanding features of my 20 years in education. The difference between teaching students languages by creating meaningless print statements to the screen vs. working in a vibrant virtual world is almost immeasurable.
