A wet finish to the day for our guide Dday Geek 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇮🇺🇦 & guests,but another brilliant one. Today was all about #Canadian & #British beach landings & remembrance. Stops included #Canada house, Juno & Gold beaches,as well as British Normandy Memorial & #Bayeux Commonwealth War Graves #Cemetery. Now time to dry out!

What a day for our father & son guests! Today was all about the #British #Airborne landings, but specifically their grandad/dad who landed in #SaintOuenDuMesnilOger, moved to #LeHam & was finally captured & interrogated in a barn in #Cleville. Today they walked in his footsteps.

I thought there was only one bridge? Questioned my passenger. Well no, was my reply. There were two and now we have talked about let’s talk about the second one. A day enlightening my US guests to what the Brits did on D-Day. I have to say they are lovely guests
