Reminder of our last Orientation Day tomorrow from 9:30am to 12:30pm. This will be a self-guided day, though staff will be available for questions and help. Students are also welcome to set up their lockers and tour the building on their own, from 7:30am-3:30pm daily.

We are proud of our AP Comparative Government and Politics students, whose outstanding performance on the AP exam contributed to the DCE Junior High being recognized. And we are grateful to the instructors who make it all happen. #EverestPride

Didn't get an opportunity to stop in during orientation? Stop by the main office from 7:30-3:30 to pick up your schedule, tour the building, and set up your locker. The school will be closed for an all district meeting on Thursday 8/24, from 11am-12:30pm.

On Friday, September 1st, the junior high (and only the junior high) will be without internet as work to the fiber optic cable is being made. As such, the junior high building will not have internet or telephone access for most of the day on Friday.

The 8th grade football team traveled to Mosinee for a scrimmage today against Mosinee, Merrill, PJ Jacobs, and Ben Franklin. Great day for some football!

Tuesday’s 6-8th grade Cross Country meet at the Wildwood Zoo in Marshfield has been moved to a 5:30pm start.

Tonight’s home 6th-8th grade girls swim meet has been cancelled.

We held our first Dance Party Friday today! Lots of fun!

Spanish students in Sra. Plisch's class were rocking the traditional hand clapping game, La Mariposa (the butterfly) yesterday. The 7th hour class set the record for the most students playing together as a whole class!

Mr. Rochester‘s Construction Technology classes are designing and building cranes with a limited amount of supplies. Tests to see how much weight they can hold will begin soon!

Students in Mrs. Heise’s Transportation Systems class are creating rubber band vehicles to explore how vehicles can be propelled.

Want to avoid some of the congestion of morning drop off near the main entrance at the front of the building? Consider dropping your student off on Everest Ave. at the south side of the building.
