I love what I do and where I teach. An awesome early end of the year present from one of my fifth graders who kept it a secret and got others to sign.

Although I did not reach the total goal needed for a set of hand drums (yet), I am VERY THANKFUL for my friends, family, and co-workers that came together and raised over $400 in ONE day.

Dr. Carreon Academy family, I got a chance to listen to Nicole Hockley from the Sandy Hook Promise Organization speak. She lost her son. We need to teach our students to see signs when someone needs help and speak up. There are some great resources!

Attending the Afternoon session at BOOST- Random acts of Kindness Foundation said to find things to be grateful for, so I stepped outside and immediately discovered one... this beautiful valley day weather.:)
