The virgin birth is not just one detail in the Christmas story. Without the virgin birth there is no gospel. We stand firm on the whole truth of the Word of God or we fall by the anemic "truth" of the culture, by which no one is saved, sanctified, or fit for heaven.

Christ not only died because of our sins, but because of God’s character. He is just and cannot justify or pardon the wicked without satisfying His justice's demands against them first.

Whether dressed in a pinstriped business suit, the latest fashion trends, or the religious garb of a prophet, the world’s message is the same – It makes little or no mention of the eternal but convinces its hears to lay hold on the temporal before it is gone.

At 2 years of age, my grandson can sit through an entire church service - including a 55 minute sermon - without causing a disruption. And he's quite a talker usually. It can be done. Kids belong in the sanctuary with you, moms and dads!
