The entire run of Nothing (#Ingenting) in Oslo is all but sold out and it was packed with young people when I went. I might be a bit biased, but if opera houses care about getting younger audiences involved in opera, they should put this show on now! #opera

Thumbnail design is one of my least favourite parts of being a YouTuber, but there's absolutely no doubt it works. On day ~30 my 'Classical Vaporwave' vid was flatlining. I change the thumbnail - the graph almost does a right angle and it's now one of my most viewed recent vids.

Don't use it myself, but making Finale unusable on new devices for people who've already bought it seems like a pretty low move. I heard MakeMusic Inc. were trying to sell Finale for a while; did Dorico just pay to kill it, in exchange for "providing a pathway" to their product?

Meanwhile, a well-timed release from MuseScore, currently the only other major music app that seems committed to continued development. Not quite ready yet to switch from Sibelius, but the day is getting closer...
