It was wonderful to celebrate the baptism of Three of our Iranian friends who are currently Asylum seekers based in a local hotel. The joy they have in their Christian faith has been wonderful to see. We continue to learn much from them. #livingGodsLove #diostalbans

With the worlds attention focussed on Qatar - it’s worth remembering there are other faiths including many Christian traditions in the country. The Anglican centre provides a host for many of these. I visited Fr Paul there in 2018.

Today I made a pastoral visit to Napier Barracks in Canterbury Diocese to hear the stories of those here seeking asylum, many of them missing their loved ones. Like the Holy Family, we keep those on perilous journeys in our prayers this Christmas.
