Living Streets Louise Haigh Not if you can’t walk or cycle. Many disabled people with severe mobility & other impairments now can’t reach their destination. Any new infrastructure shouldn’t be exclusive, Not all can use adapted cycles even if they could afford them.

A few months ago journalists were being sold the “golden ticket” nonsense about SEND children. At the time SEND children were blamed for bankrupting councils. Also parents were accused of using SEND to get benefits. If you have done this journey you know it is not golden.

The worst one yet… this is the disabled toilet in @koynlondon last night. When I asked them about it, they said, “It’s not the disabled toilet; it’s a storage cupboard”. I then asked them to show me where the disabled toilet was. They responded, “Uhhh, well, we can clear it

Behaviour in our school is excellent. Not because of punishments and sanctions and zero tolerance. Because of building a culture of mutual respect.

Andrew has lost his right to travel independently to his local high street by bus as he used to. Blind people’s access needs are being systematically ignored by London government.

Poor school attendance by any child is always a symptom, rather than the cause of the issue. What falls away first is engagement - the style of teaching, learning & support doesn’t fit the child - inevitably followed by their attainment and only then by their regular attendance.

Quick thought/question -- - is raising taxes (petrol etc) on fuel a good thing? - what groups does raises taxes on fuel impact the most ? - is the this fair?

Dan Vevers Rented e-scooters in the trials are still being left dumped as trip hazards and obstructions. Many promises to resolve the issue but never happened in reality. Scotland was lucky to avoid having them.
