Now I was no Boyzone fan but having Shane DJing in the Landostand is pretty impressive as a pre FP3 warmup 🫡

This is the absolute best place to be, fantastic 7 acre lake with carp to mid 40s and cats to 120lbs, only 7 anglers allowed on, lovely setting and plenty of space in the swim.......oh, and no work for the next 2 days so I can go into full chill mode. 😎

Got my rig out under the tree about 8 feet from the base, seen a few carp spook off the area and a couple just sitting there knowing they're perfectly safe, just hope when they come out later my trap is ready and waiting for them. Frustrating, but at least I know they're there

Water level is massively down at the moment as the farmer uses the lakes for irrigation purposes, but we're here fishing and it's been very productive for me so far, 4 carp out before 11am, fishing until 8 so loads more time yet! Finally getting some carp on the bank 🎣🎣

Well it's been pretty much non stop today, still got a couple of hours to go on the clubwater but me and Marc are up to 17 fish between us, all doubles, most are around 15/16 average but there's been a couple of 20s out too. Be nice to get one of the bigguns to finish the day

Seems I've made a new friend whilst down at the field, started off by hopping around us, then letting us stroke him, then hopping on me and finally falling asleep on my shoulder and actually coming back when called. So friendly it was ridiculous

Well it was a decent start to the session, as usual Keira gets the first run of the day and im left playing netboy. Don't mind that too much though, 17lb 6oz of a lovely looking mirror puts a smile on her face and makes the trip worthwhile

Well the afternoon was a lot more productive than the morning, all hell broke loose after lunch and we ended up with 7 carp and 2 Bream between us, lovely day with the daughter catching carp, can't beat it. All doubles, 2 20s, biggest went 22lb 12oz but fought like a 30lber.
