We've got a leafcutter bee nesting in a hole in our garden table. Waiting on the table is this Sharp-tailed Bee, and when the leafcutter leaves she pops in and lays her own egg to parasitise the growing leafcutter larva. Isn't nature beautiful. BBC Springwatch Bumblebee Conservation Trust

My Welsh Ornithological Society 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, Glambirds rookery survey around St Hilary turned up 2 nests in 4km2. Meanwhile, back home and well away from my survey tetrad, 71 nests in the churchyard over the road.
