Lots of ‘pressing’ practices have 2/3 players chase the ball in a small area against 5/6 stationary opponents who have to get a number of passes then switch play to another box for players to chase again - this replicates very little of the coordinated skills of ‘pressing’ 🧵

'Most of what I do on the pitch comes from futsal' I guess there's a fair chance Rios ends up in the EPL for millions £. Then we'll get: 'why can't we produce more players like him? its because kids don't play street games anymore'. But futsal? hey, no way man, thats ludicrous.
