How to be a better singer: spend time singing with people who sing a HELL OF A LOT BETTER than you. Then copy copy copy bcuz no matter how much you copy you can only ever sound like you THEN!!! OOOO THENNNN you start finding things and creating new things in ur own voice! MAGIC!
