I am highly suspicious of GitHub repos with tons of ⭐ but barely any 🐛. It usually means people aren’t actually using it and it's being marketed as a vanity metric. Projects with active users file bugs, request features, and ask questions.

One of the challenges in using AI effectively is staying engaged enough to step in at the right moments. It’s surprisingly easy to zone out. Reminds me of this related story. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Gentle reminder that most people, including competitors, are generally kind and willing to help out, at least to a reasonable extent. Don’t avoid reaching out to develop a relationship. If someone doesn’t respond, simply move on and keep pushing forward on your own.

Where there’s this much smoke, you start to wonder. The only time Perplexity pops up on my radar is when they’re busy 💩posting, stirring rumors, lawyering up, or defending themselves against someone else’s claims.

Some people think AI is a bubble and I’m not going to argue either way. I do think the global markets are extremely hungry for more trillion-dollar companies.
