There are some interesting ideas here, but nothing that a skilled teacher already knows. The approach feels somewhat militaristic, particularly with the choral responses and '1, 2, 3'..... and 'SLANT! The students all sit perfectly still they all come across as quite robotic.

SLANT Strategy- It's important to recognize that different people have different ways of processing information and staying attentive. Doodling might seem like a sign of distraction, but it can actually be a valuable tool for maintaining focus / enhancing learning for some people
