I was so proud to join SEIU at the #FamiliesFirst Day of Action this past weekend. It’s simple: we need to put families first — not billionaires, not big corporations, and not corrupt politics.

We've taken action in Evanston and I'm glad to see the state strengthening gun safety laws, but we need Congress to do something. Assault weapons ban, universal background checks, red flag laws are no brainers. And it’s time to get serious about repealing the 2nd Amendment.
