First pre-season game reffing done. Was much needed. Really enjoyable, competitive game. Fitness from 2 months of takeaways and no exercise has taken it toll. Anyone need a ref next Saturday, let me know.

Really enjoyed refereeing in County Cup today, but hot is an understatement. Not often I see clubs take the full half time break and i was very grateful 🥵. Eventful game, penalty, 3YC, 1RC and ended with my 1st penalty shootout.

Days like today make me glad i gave refereeing a go last year. Great game to be a part of, really hard fought, competitive game. Game is a joy when both sides respect each other and just want to play. 9 goals today, 2 yellows and 22 hand shakes.
