Congratulations to Prof Emma Thomson (Emma Thomson) who has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (Royal Society of Edinburgh)! Emma is an expert in infectious diseases & pandemic preparedness, and has contributed through research, advisory roles, and pandemic response efforts.


Members of our CVR Bioinformatics team, along with Wellcome Genome Campus global training successfully completed the Viral Genomics & Bioinformatics training course in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Hosted by OUCRU, 24 researchers from 12 different countries attended the training.
