I try to run far and tweet stuff sometimes. I mostly retweet. My wife and daughters are pretty cool. I am a shepherd of people. And enthusiasm is my jam.

Derek Carr’s 5 worst seasons by passer rating and PFF grade are the 5 times he was in his first year with a play-caller. His 4 best seasons in both categories came when he remained in same system

Trying to fathom the evil incarnate of a school principal who *could* plausibly declare a snow day…and decides not to. Just unforgivable.

As Easter is coming, this is a quick reminder that this catechism series put out by Lexham Press press is incredible. I was taking these pictures, and my 6 year old came over to tell me all I was missing in each picture that he’s spent HOURS studying. He knows them by heart.

The collapse of institutional trust over the last five decades. The only institution that has seen an increase in trust is the military. One exception: millennials. There's really no institution that they trust as much today as they did 20 years ago.

On #MaundyThursday, Jesus shows us and tells us that our place is at the feet of others. For the God of Heaven and Earth kneels before us and washes our feet. Because this is what God is like. God comes among us not to be served, but to serve.

Visited what I am calling “has AA meeting vibes church” again today and brought my nonverbal autistic daughter. She was not quiet when she was supposed to be. She did not sit still. And everyone was delighted by her presence. I can’t put into words how meaningful that was.

Took my littles to church today, and a woman approached me because she noticed my nonverbal child trying to rush the stage the week before 🤪 She told me she has a 21yo son who was disabled and is nonverbal. She raised him in this church since he was born. /1

1/2 The pop-behaviorist canard that refuses to die is that an extrinsic inducement just provides a helpful jump-start: Once someone experiences the intrinsic value of reading, learning, helping, not smoking, being physically fit, etc., the reward can just be phased out...
