Sounders lucky not to be down 1-0 as Julian Alvarez gets a clean chance only to direct it off the right post and out... But the relief was short-lived as Pablo Barrios goes off the crossbar and by Stefan Frei for a 1-0 Atletico lead. Run from Giuliano Simeone created the chance.

17th minute and the Sounders get a great chance. Albert Rusnak with a centering pass that Danny Musovski directs toward the net and is saved by Jan Oblak.
