The roads are damp. In some places they’re slippery. It’s also foggy out today and yet the Oakville District Response officers located and stopped 15 drivers who were using their cell phones while behind the wheel. Please drive safely. ^JW

Brant at Uppermiddle tonight at 10pm. 2 cruisers nabbed 2 out of town Noisemakers resulting 6 tickets (3 each). One muffler delete, one sports car being run in “Track mode” which bypasses the normal (legal) exhaust system. 3DRU

This truck was inspected by our CVSA Inspector Cst Barnes. 4 of 6 brakes on the tractor unit were found to be out of adjustment/inoperable. Pre trip inspection showed no defects. The CMV was placed out of service, multiple charges laid against driver & company #RoadSafety ^MRT

If you drove by Brant St at Hazelton you may have seen one of the numerous traffic stops today by 3DRU. Numerous tickets issued for Speeding in the Community Safty Zone, as well as Fail to yield to pedestrian, illegal tint <30. 3DRU

Mapleview Mall car meet up got attention from Halton Police tonight. Numerous vehicles stopped resulting in 42 charges, as well as one Radar Detector seized (haven’t seen one of those in a while). #Noisemaker was the most common offence for the mostly out of town vehicles 3DRU

#UNSAFE vehicle removed from Oakville roads by our CVSA Inspector. Vehicle in an unsafe condition with multiple obvious defects and ‘repairs’ which do not meet industry standards/requirements. Vehicle had expired temporary permit from 2021. Plates removed/multiple charges ^MRT
