Farmer: (in middle of 35ha field) can’t believe the wind is strong enough to blow the blossom from the old tip all the way over here.. Agronomist: the tip is downwind of us today, that ‘blossom’ is actually water based!! Farmer: bloody snow!!!

Bit of a wildlife morning today. On one farm we spotted green fritillary butterfly, common blue butterfly, barn owl chick and best of all stone curlews!!! Didn’t manage to photograph everything.
