I never knew there was a sequel to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Found out today on @TCM that it’s playing & sadly I missed the 1st half, but just from the few minutes I’ve watched it’s trying to explain all the stuff we didn’t get from the first movie. It’s titled 2010.
