Jill Craigie wrote and directed a film about post-war Plymouth entitled 'The Way We Were'. She was one of Britain's earliest female film documentary makers and a feminist. Whilst making the film she met her future husband, the Plymouth MP Michael Foot. jillcraigiefilmpioneer.org/resources/
