ThanksGov. Polis for signing Keep Colorado Wild Pass bill Governor Jared Polis cpw. State of Rockies bipartisan poll found Coloradans want to find a way to conserve wildlife, along with funding hunters/anglers providing for long time. Opportunity via motor vehicle registration begins 2023.
Sen. Bennet has introduced Oil and Gas Bonding Reform and Orphaned Well Remediation Act of 2021 Michael Bennet. Would create orphaned well clean-up fund + strengthen bonding requirements, and create reclamation jobs + clean up public lands that include impacted wildlife habitat.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife awarded funding for 8 Fishing is Fun projects. Funding support totalled $650K. Awards will improve fisheries, angling access, habitat, fishing pier and boat dock.Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Local matches were $2.5 MM. Pleased to serve on the advisory committee.

Thanks Sen. Hickenlooper Senator John Hickenlooper for co-sponsoring Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, which we view as the most important wildlife conservation bill in 50 years. It would provide CO needed funds to safeguard and recover many of our species of greatest conservation need.
