Whatever AI boosters tell you, remember that the overwhelming majority of people think AI companies should pay for the work they train on, and this is true across the political spectrum

AI's have no ability to discern whether anything is true or not. They provide both correct and incorrect information, but can't tell the difference. That takes a human.

Perhaps we could start with educating AI users and pushers with how it works, because they seem to believe it capable of utterly insane things and usable for everything. You can describe exactly how it works to their faces and they will flat out tell you you are wrong.
