We love to hear our PreK students sing about belonging! The social justice themes of identity, diversity, justice, and action are a significant piece of the educational experience at Corlears. Especially at this young age, the exploration of self helps to build confidence.

We had a wonderful evening at our New Families Reception, which is an event hosted by our Board of Trustees to welcome our newest families and families with a child in their first year at Corlears. Thank you to everyone that attended and we welcome you to the Corlears community!

Our Head of School David Egolf popped in to visit the Seedlings students during choice time, which included a magnetic table, a puzzle table, an art table and a sand table! This bit of unstructured exploration time allows our nursery students to follow their natural curiosity.

Inside Fifth Grade: As the eldest students at Corlears, fifth graders take on many leadership roles within the community, including classroom buddies with younger students and weekly assembly-hosting duties. Here are some photos from their first weeks of school!

First Grade is currently learning about fruits and vegetables in science class, so they took a field trip to the local farmers' market! Then, they ended the field trip at the Union Square playground, where the kids had a wonderful time enjoying the lovely fall weather.
