Glen Barber, longtime Tennessee General Assembly employee, has passed away today. Glen was beloved by many, and left a smile on the face of everyone he met. His dedication to the state of Tennessee ran deep, a principle he held with pride. He will be missed.

The Cordell Hull building is currently without power. State offices will be closed in the following counties: Davidson, Wilson, Putnam, Carroll, Benson, Fentress, Overton, and Smith.

The Speakers and Governor have announced that the Capitol and Cordell Hull Building will be closed to everyone except Legislators, staff, and media until further notice.
