Everything Gail Simone 💙💛 says in #comicsschool applies to game design as well. Which is a good tip: try all sorts of creative work. You'll learn more about universal rules while also learning about what makes them different.

What are some anthologies that are accepting submissions in the next 60 days? Prose or comics. I have fallen a bit off on writing in the past month and I am looking for a prompt and a goal.

I am 100% down to do #ttrpgschool ala Gail Simone 💙💛 did #comicsschool but as good a teacher as I am it won’t work without some support from #ttrpg people who have a significant twitter presence. tag someone with lots of followers maybe we can find me a helper?

Much like #comicsschool, we're going to have a week of classes, from Monday to Friday. Each day you're going to get a little bit of homework, and at the end, you're going to make your first RPG! Awesome sauce!

This really is a cool thread, a spiritual sibling to #ComicsSchool, but for creating tabletop role-playing games. Writers, artists, designers, CHECK IT OUT!

Nahir Guilloty Understood. Don’t know if it would be useful to you, but I did a free five day set of lessons here called #ComicsSchool that you may find helpful. There is also a discord and website, all free.

Just under two years ago, I was feeling down about the pandemic and realized a bunch of other comics readers did, too, and we came up with #ComicsSchool to talk about people making their first comic. Thousands and thousands took part, and a TON made their first comic. 1/

...I want that to happen for everyone who has also had that dream. #ComicsSchool alumni or not, keep at it. It's a new year, there are more ways to get comics out there than ever (still challenging, but more accessible, too). 3/
