The Vikings have been top-10 in points allowed each of the past two seasons. Kyler Murray didn't have a top-10 defense in any of his seven years with the Cardinals.

If Vikings players are clamoring to sign Kyler Murray then that’s all you need to know about how they feel in regard to JJ McCarthy

Cole Middleton (@colemiddleton__) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Vikings signing Kyler Murray is a no brainer; you’re in a cost cutting offseason so getting an competent QB for basically nothing is ideal

Cole Middleton (@colemiddleton__) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The Vikings not spending basically any cash and running it back with just Kyler Murray at QB shows you the team has little to no faith in McCarthy next year

I wouldn’t throw in the towel on JJ McCarthy. Let me be clear on that. But I’m not the one trying hard to bring in a super-talented 28 year old former #1 overall pick with 87 career starts and 2 pro bowls. And please …stop with the “JJ can compete for the starting job with

Let’s stop with the Kyler Murray doesn’t fit KOC’s offense crap. I just watched Caleb Williams nearly take the Bears to the NFC Championship in a Ben Johnson offense.

Louis Riddick (@lriddickespn) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So…KOC says Kyler fits what they ask their QB’s to do, but others pick out some stats that say he can’t do what they think KOC’s offense wants to do. Because they know what KOC’s offense wants to do more than KOC himself. Got it.

I’m not sold on Rob B. being the full time GM. It doesn’t seem like he wants the job (could be wrong) and he’s so good at what he does, it would be more valuable to keep him as the cap guy. Anyone from Seattle; Kirchner, Berry, or Teasley would be ideal.

Cole Middleton (@colemiddleton__) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It’s not about the player it’s about the process. If Caleb Banks played the entire year he’s a top 10 pick. However, in a year where you need as many plug and play guys as possible, you take a guy who can’t stay on the field and you probably could have picked at 49. Crazy.

Cole Middleton (@colemiddleton__) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I’m not a JJ McCarthy guy but KOC has no room to criticize Caleb Banks if (when?) he can’t stay on the field like he has for McCarthy. You chose this life last night. No remorse if the foot continues to be an issue in the league

Promote Rob B to President of Football operations (like Matt Ryan in ATL) and hire a GM to handle scouting and personnel (Teasley, Agnew, Kirchner, or Dodds). I’m not very high on McKay….yet.

Terrance Gray might just be the favorite behind the scenes for the Vikings GM role. Spent a lot time under Spielman and Paton in Minnesota and knows Rob B well.

Making Ryan Grigson the GM would be organizational malpractice, in no way should that man be running an organization again. I hope the Wilfs aren’t that stupid

Terrance Gray would be a great hire for the Vikings. I don’t hold him to some of the questionable decisions both Brandon Beane and the Bills ownership has made.
