The Budget Reserve Fund, commonly referred to as the Rainy Day Fund, will end Fiscal Year 2022 with $3.3 billion available and is fully funded at its maximum allowable 15% of General Fund Revenues.

NEW: CT Office of Policy and Management estimates CT will pay down $4.1 billion in pension debt. OPM estimates it will save taxpayers $12 billion over the next 25 years The state's Rainy Day Fund is also at its maximum allowed $3.3 billion

During the Lamont administration OPM is estimating the state will make an additional $5.8 billion in payments to our unfunded liabilities, resulting in over $12 billion in total savings to taxpayers over the next 25 years.
