We are grateful to Scottish Labour MSPs for adding their names in support of our statement on recognition. Alongside yesterday’s statement from Anas Sarwar, it sends a clear message that all Scottish Labour MSPs support recognition of the State of Palestine.

Israel must allow aid in over land to end the starvation unfolding in Gaza. The situation is desperate. We are working with Jordan to get aid into Gaza. We are urgently accelerating efforts to evacuate children who need critical medical assistance to the UK for treatment.

Think of all those pro-Israel pundits you saw on your television screens this past year trying to sociopathically justify the mass starvation of Gaza by robotically claiming Hamas steals the aid. They were all lying. Shamelessly. Even the Israeli military confirms it now.

This is progress, but vast amounts more aid needed to stave off famine and a catastrophic health crisis in Gaza. Across UN agencies and humanitarian community, we are mobilized to save as many lives as we can.
