22. In 2016, Tsvangirai spearheaded the formation of the National Electoral Reform Agenda ( NERA) to spearhead electoral reforms. This forced ZEC to establish a ZEC- Political Parties Dialogue Forum to discuss these reforms.

No to retrogressive constitutional amendments: NERA is totally opposed to proposals to have voter registration and delimitation functions to be transferred to bodies appointed by the executive. This is exactly what Zimbabweans rejected in the 2013 Referendum.

Claims by Minister Ziyambi that there is an agreement in Parliament to effect constitutional changes to deal with elections if true shows a serious anti-people collusion. We challenge the opposition MPs to oppose these. The Constitution is sacrosanct.
