In science, all outcomes matter.

But we all know how it goes with research journals:

We are currently taking a short break with the lecture series program. However, the next lecture will take place on May 27, 3:30 pm. Dr. Mariano Grünebaum will give a lecture on redox flow cells. Save the date 😀!

Academia never says 'do something creative / take a risk'
1. Students: don't be too ambitious.
2. Postdocs: work on projects with a high feasibility
3. Asst professors: play it safe, get tenure
4. Professors: don't lose funding, go with the paradigm.
As told to us by Keith Yamamoto

A used copy of Stryer bought from the street near Flora Fountain in Mumbai has travelled with me. I remember having to bargain for the copy so it would fit the little money I had. The elderly shopkeeper eventually gives it for a fraction of his asking price saying...use it well.
