🤩 Well done to year 11 student, Ollie M-K who represented Derbyshire in the Octathlon this weekend. 👏🏻 Ollie absolutely smashed it, finishing 2nd overall, helping his Derbyshire team win the competition!

🏏 Our year 7 cricket team played a friendly against Dronfield yesterday! 👏🏻 We started really well getting early wickets, and reduced Dronfield to 108. 😞 Unfortunately, we couldn’t match their total, scoring 90 in our 20 overs.

🤩 Well done to the u14 cricket team who beat Lady Manners in the Derbyshire Cup! 👏🏻 Great to see some new faces making their cricketing debuts! 🤩 Seb B top scored with 33, Ezra S and Charlie M both took two wickets! 🎥 Watch the ball hit the stumps, but the bails stay on!!

🏉Our Y7 girls' rugby team were invited to a Rugby World Cup festival in Manchester yesterday! 🤩 The girls played a number of games against other schools and celebrated the upcoming Women's Rugby WC which is now only 50 days away. 👏The girls loved it! What a great experience.

🏏 Congratulations to year 10 student, Sam C, who has made it in to the Cheshire Youth Cricket Scores Cheshire Cricket Board U15 squad for this summer!! 🤩 An excellent achievement and fully deserved. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can he do it against the staff in a couple of weeks time?!

☀️Well done to our y7/8 cricketers who took on Tytherington PE this afternoon! 🤩We won by an impressive 101 runs! Sam B and Charlie M both retired 30*, Kobi H and Jack P both scoring in the teens. 🏏Leo J shone with the ball & along with Aimee M picked up a couple of catches!

🏃🏻‍♂️ Sports Day is underway with the 1500m event taking place prior to Fridays main event! 🤩 It’s a strong start for Combs and Kinder as Nathan H and Jess D win for their houses!
