We discussed what makes a good math group & practiced math groups w/ Sara VanDerWerf’s 1-100 activity, w/o time constraints. After 20 min of solid engagement and team work the groups findings ranged from 40-55 & they didn’t want to stop! bltsenior #buildingthinkingclassrooms

We are writing letters using transitional words to Mr. Myra to tell him how to be the best principal. Some ideas are to put 1000 bouncy castles outside, make it pizza day everyday, and add more boat swings. Take notes, @CraigMyra2! bltsenior

Today we hosted an open house to classes and parents and shared our Beech Hill Dioramas. This project was an eye opener to many students who learned how their community of Beechville came to be and it’s importance as an early African Nova Scotian settlement. bltsenior
