Yoh! South African cricket. Makes me so emotional knowing this is what the generation before us fought so hard for. A winning team. A together team. A true South African team. Huge credit also to Enoch Nkwe, who has masterminded so much of this. 🇿🇦

What an inspired appointment Temba Bavuma has been. Quietly, and with dignity, he is taking South African cricket to wonderful heights.

A very powerful retirement press conference. It was about Usman Khawaja’s cricket career but was an incredible window into what it is to be a brown person in a largely white environment. You start with trying to fit in but then realise it’s more about being accepted for who you are

The ⁦Usman Khawaja⁩ debate is not if you agree or disagree with specific points, it’s about being a brown man in a white dominated country that is struggling to shake off its racist past! - To be a brown man in a white game | Cricbuzz.com cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/1…

When Australia refused to play certain games in WC 1996 and England and New Zealand did it in WC 2003, did ICC cut any revenue from share? West Indies don’t even qualify for many ICC events still they get the revenue. Zimbabwe didn’t travel for T20 WC 2009 and still got the

If you disrespect a team on the field, there is a chance they refuse to play against you tomorrow, even willing to forfeit points. If someone refuses to shake my hand, I wouldn't want to engage with them either. That said, I doubt Pakistan would forfeit a knockout game.

So far we have learnt: 1.7% of pupils in South African schooling are foreigners 0.9% of educators in South African schools are foreigners. 7.7% of university staff are foreigners.

Posts and questions like this are just goonga. South Africa just beat India by 76 runs, why would they purposely lose against West Indies just to avoid India in the knockouts? Ignoring the fact they are a professional team and they want momentum, at this point I’d back SA to

So England got knocked out on Thurs get a charter home today .. West Indies go out last Sunday and are still in Kolkata .. SA in the same position .. That’s where the power is all wrong .. All teams in this situation should be treated the same .. just because you are more
