The ESB Networks crews have done amazing work to restore power to 626k but sadly day 6 of no power now for 148k premises. Latest map shows Northern half of country impacted. We really a plan for those without heat to get hot meals and accommodation. Another frosty night ahead too

Our elderly and most vulnerable deserve better than this. It’s that simple. Get him into a hotel and get him looked after. We’re one of the richest country’s in Europe and this is simply not good enough. I hope he’s got ppl minding him.

We have consistent reports of underinvestment in infrastructure from Northern & Western Regional Assembly and this hugely clear visual reminder or impact. We have a dedicated agency for the West WesternDevelopment.ie championing our region as a place to invest and locate. Where is the infrastructure investment?
