It’s day 2 of the #STEMsignlexiCON workshop at Gallaudet Bison. STAMPGallaudet faculty are hosting the first ever workshop for founders and leaders of STEM sign lexicons. International participants are here to discuss ethics, linguistics, k-12 assessments, and sustainability!

#AAASmtg I need to say something. My experience was lousy y’all dropped the ball on deaf people. None of us connected with interpreters until the very last minute. #access stress is real And this is what underrepresentation looks like Big loss! We had good stuff to share

#AAASmtg has been a disappointing experience for us deaf STEMists. We were all excited to share the latest ideas and research and it went unrecognized. I understand Bonnielin Swenor PhD has been invited to advise AAAS and look forward to working with you.
