With several days below freezing🥶, we continue to follow our detailed plan to manage the grid as customer demand increases ⬆️. Demand is anticipated to peak on Thursday across the #Carolinas. Duke Energy says it's well positioned to meet that demand 🔌. news.duke-energy.com/releases/duke-…
We are preparing for snowy and icy conditions expected in the Carolinas. Due to the increased risk of outages from winter precipitation, customers should have a plan in case of power loss. Follow Duke Energy North Carolina and Duke Energy South Carolina for storm updates. spr.ly/6019I0Hmd.
We are ready to respond to the #winter storm in the #Carolinas ❄️ This is Duke Energy’s staging area in #NewBern eastern #NorthCarolina. We have 150 trucks and 300 crews prepared to restore power for our customers as quickly and safely as possible.
These Duke Energy #Asheville crews are working today to get service to a business in Biltmore Village that prior to today was unable to receive power due to severe flooding and needed to pass inspection. We’re continuing to work with our communities in #WNC impacted by #Helene.
We support and advocate for our customers in need. This week, I joined Duke Energy teammates at the U.S. Capitol to call on Congress to fully fund home energy assistance for customers in need. #LIHEAP
