Carl Wright I run where I live. Last year I found an ultra that started 20 mins drive away. This year it's to London on the train and 80 miles back to finish 10 miles from where I live. So much to discover on foot. I find I've hardly started.

I never run 5k's, 10k's, half marathon's anymore Noel...even a marathon I haven't run in 7 years. Last years I ran 3 ultras, all within a 60km driving distance. Even travel is expensive for races. With me transitioning into retirement my race days may soon be over. 🏃‍♂️

What also saves lives: Driving vehicles that allow you to see people crossing the road in front of you - especially children and wheelchair/mobility scooter users.

Shawn Elizabeth Global Winnipeg It's not an either/or thing. It's about using the right tool for the job. I commute 4 miles to work. Perfect for a bike. But if I need to haul a large amount of stuff from 20 miles away, a car would be more appropriate. Remember: cycling benefits EVERYONE.
